Untamed BordersUntamed Borders

Untamed Borders is an adventure travel company providing unparalleled access to some of the world’s most interesting and inaccessible places. We specialise in trips to Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Middle East, East Africa, former Soviet Central Asia and the Caucasus, but also arrange bespoke trips to other off-the-beaten track destinations.

Untamed Borders uses specialist local guides throughout, whose aim is to provide authentic and original experiences for all our guests. We can introduce you to the people of the areas we visit because they are our friends. We speak the languages and know the history because it is our history and we want to share it with the rest of the world.

We believe that peace and understanding on a world scale can only come when people of different cultures meet and interact.

redspokes is a specialist adventure cycling company. Our high-altitude tours to Tibet and the Indian Himalayas offer extreme challenges and we rate them as expeditions rather than holidays. Cross five major passes over 5,000 metres in Tibet and cycle the highest road pass in the world in India.

If you prefer a more moderate cycling experience or a relaxed touring holiday through warm climes, redspokes has a wide a range of destinations to choose from in South and Central Asia, South America and, closer to home, we have three exciting Scottish Itineraries, and two Albanian tours.

redspokes is committed to supporting local economies and respecting local cultures. We employ local guides and drivers, staying mostly in family-run accommodation and where possible build relationships with the local communities.

redspokes groups are on average 12 people (never more than 16). We feel this minimises environmental damage and disturbance, whilst facilitating genuine contact with local people. In smaller groups it can be easier to develop a sense of camaraderie and friendship with your fellow travellers.

We welcome travellers who, like us, wish to promote better understanding and awareness among people from different cultures and backgrounds.

Large MinorityLarge Minority

Impossible adventures, made possible.

Large Minority exists to provide you with the best gosh-darned adventures in the world. From tuk-tuk challenges across Sri Lanka and Cambodia to navigating Colombia’s Amazon River in a canoe, we make the surreal, real. We’ve put in the hard graft and organised everything for you. All you have to do is turn up, get in and drive. Checking a map every now and then is encouraged, but ultimately optional.

During the evenings, whether you’re camping next to a remote lake or nestling in to a boutique hotel, you’ll be toasting your success and swapping the day’s stories with your fellow adventurers. And yes, there will be stories. Our trips are challenges. They’ll challenge you mentally and physically, but there’ll be enough help and support along the way to get you over the line.

And the best part? Our challenges are designed to benefit the countries we visit. We make sure our trips give more to the locals than they take, so you can rest assured that your kickass adventure is having a direct, positive impact on the communities you’ll pass through.

Large Minority: purveyors of rebellious, forward-thinking, creative and novel travel experiences. That’s it.

Adventure CanadaAdventure Canada

Founded in 1987, Adventure Canada was created to bring travellers to Canada’s ‘blank spaces’, those areas whose remoteness alone made them special. Over the last 30 years we have discovered that there is so much that is extraordinary about the places we travel, from the landscape, wildlife and culture to the history, art and archeology that is unique to every destination. It is our belief that there is so much to see beyond the binoculars that drives us to delve deeper into our favourite places with every expedition and continually seek out new destinations.
